So, had a little run-in with a spear this past week— the armament in question had begun to fall towards a friend of mine, and I impulsively reached out and (stupidly) grabbed it by the blade.
I wound up cutting about halfway through my index finger, and a third of the way through my thumb. Went to the ER and got about 14 stitches. All in all, pretty dumb of me.
I’m OK, but, just figured I should let the world know. So… ta-daa. Hope you’re all well, and faring better than I am.

If anyone in the 21st century goes back to the 14th century when the Black Death was popular, they would definitely refuse to go there.
